Overview of Role

This role seeks an experienced Senior Java Architect/Leader with over 7 years in Java/Spring Boot to design and lead the development of scalable, secure microservices on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Responsibilities include defining technical standards, mentoring teams, ensuring code quality, and optimizing performance, requiring strong expertise in system design, DevOps, APIs, and security principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design: Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance Java-based application architectures, often using microservices.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaboration: Work with product managers, business analysts, and other teams to gather requirements and align technical solutions with business goals.
• Standards & Best Practices: Define technical standards, guidelines, and patterns for Java development.
• Quality Assurance: Lead code reviews, ensure code quality, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve systems.
• Documentation: Create and maintain architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and documentation.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and system issues.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Deep experience of 7+ years in Java, Java EE, and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Strong understanding of system design, microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and DevOps principles.
• Experience with database design, API design, security principles, and CI/CD.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
