Databricks is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for the Public Sector to drive digital transformation across New Zealand. You'll work closely with government partners to harness the Databricks platform. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and a results-driven mindset.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the public sector, and understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with it. Your ability to build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers is second nature, and you excel at telling compelling stories that resonate with stakeholders. You are results-driven and passionate about leveraging technology to drive positive change in government agencies.
You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to identify key use cases and drive consumption of the Databricks platform effectively. Your experience in managing the end-to-end sales cycle equips you to prospect, engage, and close transformative deals that align with New Zealand’s digital priorities. You are comfortable navigating complex environments and can influence at the highest levels.
Experience in the technology sector, particularly with data and AI solutions, is highly desirable. Familiarity with the New Zealand public sector landscape will give you an edge in understanding the needs of government partners. A background in digital transformation initiatives will also be beneficial as you work to inspire change across various agencies.
In this role, you will drive consumption of the Databricks platform by helping customers derive value through identifying key use cases. You will lead initiatives that make measurable impacts, from accelerating innovation in health and education to supporting sustainability and economic development. Your efforts will shape Databricks’ presence across New Zealand, particularly within the public sector.
You will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and closing strategic opportunities that align with New Zealand’s digital priorities. This involves managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and initial engagement to closing deals. You will work closely with government partners to understand their needs and demonstrate how Databricks can help them achieve their goals.
