Who you are

You have extensive experience in compliance management, ideally within the food delivery or technology sectors. You understand the importance of maintaining high standards of legal and ethical compliance while fostering a culture of integrity within the organization. Your leadership skills enable you to build strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders, ensuring that compliance is integrated into all aspects of the business. You are proactive in identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring a safe and transparent environment for customers and employees alike.

Desirable

Experience in developing compliance programs related to privacy, food safety, environmental health and safety (EHS), and anti-corruption is highly desirable. You are familiar with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, and you have a track record of successfully implementing compliance initiatives that align with corporate policies and local regulations.

What you'll do

As the Head of Compliance, you will lead the compliance team for Rocket Now Japan, developing and executing a comprehensive compliance strategy that encompasses various areas such as privacy, food safety, EHS, and human resources compliance. You will ensure that all business processes meet the highest standards of legal and ethical compliance, while also aligning with global policies and corporate guidelines. You will actively manage risks by identifying compliance requirements and designing programs to mitigate potential issues. Regular risk assessments will be part of your responsibilities, and you will establish mechanisms to monitor compliance with labor laws and HR-related regulations.

You will oversee the review and implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures, ensuring that all stakeholders, including employees, partners, and delivery personnel, are well-informed and adhere to these standards. Leading a team of compliance professionals, you will cultivate a culture of integrity and ethics within the organization, promoting best practices and compliance awareness across all levels.

Additionally, you will develop and implement annual training programs on compliance topics such as privacy, EHS, and food safety, ensuring that all team members and partners are educated on compliance requirements and best practices. You will also establish an audit strategy, conducting regular audits across departments and facilities to ensure compliance and addressing any violations promptly. Collaborating with investigation teams, you will ensure that any internal reporting cases are handled appropriately and effectively.
