Overview

Carvana is seeking a Mid-Level Auto Technician to perform light to medium automotive repairs and diagnostics. You'll work on various vehicle systems including radiators, timing belts, and climate control. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.

You have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your ability to handle a variety of automotive issues. Your expertise includes performing light to medium repairs, and you are comfortable with diagnostics on various vehicle systems. You take pride in your work and are committed to delivering high-quality service to customers. You are familiar with using state-of-the-art tools and equipment in a high-tech environment, ensuring that you can perform repairs efficiently and effectively.

You understand the importance of teamwork and communication in a fast-paced automotive environment. You are eager to learn and grow in your role, and you appreciate the value of ongoing training and development opportunities. You are also committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Desirable

While not required, any additional certifications such as ASE would be a plus. Experience with specific automotive systems or brands can enhance your candidacy. You may also have a background in customer service, which can help you interact positively with customers and address their concerns effectively.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Level Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing general automotive repairs, including working on radiators, timing belts, alignments, and suspension systems. You will also complete repairs for wheel bearings and axles, ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers. Additionally, you will carry out vehicle climate control repairs and replacements for ACs and heater cores, addressing any issues that may arise.

You will work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to complete your tasks. Your role will involve diagnosing issues, communicating with team members, and ensuring that all repairs meet Carvana's high standards of quality. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and advance your career within the company.
