Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your skills include heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and stud welding, which are essential for performing extensive bodywork on multiple panels. You are also capable of handling large area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair, showcasing your proficiency in the field. As a team player, you are committed to training other autobody technicians, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their roles. You understand the importance of delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

What you'll do

In your role as an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on various vehicles, ensuring that each repair meets the highest standards of quality. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, allowing you to work efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include training and mentoring other autobody technicians, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in automotive bodywork. You will also collaborate with your team to ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely manner, contributing to the overall success of the company. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in the industry.
