Berkadia is offering a 2026 Summer Internship in Investment Sales in Atlanta. You'll gain hands-on experience in commercial real estate, assisting with mortgage transactions and marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for current students eager to learn and grow in the industry.
You are a current student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, eager to learn and advance in the Commercial Real Estate sector. You possess initiative and drive, always searching for ways to contribute and make an impact during your internship. You are excited about the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals and develop your skills in a supportive environment.
During your internship at Berkadia, you will assist with the analysis of multi-family and commercial mortgage transactions, gaining valuable insights into the financial aspects of real estate. You will learn how to create initial deal sizing and cash flow analysis, as well as write deal narratives that are crucial for understanding the transactions. Your role will also involve reviewing third-party reports and supporting marketing initiatives, allowing you to engage with various aspects of the business.
You will establish strong working relationships with your team, understanding their needs for support while learning about the world of Commercial Finance. Actively assisting in the research, writing, and proofing of marketing materials, presentations, analyses, reports, and loan or property documents will be part of your responsibilities. You will also utilize and maintain databases that track relevant real estate metrics, ensuring that you are well-versed in the data that drives decision-making in the industry.
Corresponding directly with mortgage bankers, borrowers, and clients to answer questions or provide information will help you develop your communication skills and build your professional network. Other duties will be assigned as needed, providing you with a well-rounded experience in the commercial real estate field.
