You are a seasoned technical expert with a strong background in diagnostics and troubleshooting, particularly in the context of autonomous driving technology. With your extensive experience, you have developed the ability to address complex issues that may arise outside of standard operating procedures. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about leveraging your knowledge to improve operational efficiency and safety. Your leadership skills enable you to guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You understand the importance of data-driven decision-making and are adept at analyzing technical challenges to implement effective solutions. You are committed to the mission of enhancing mobility and safety through advanced technology.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of diagnostic technicians, providing technical guidance and support as they troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Waymo Driver. You will engage closely with Waymo Engineering to ensure that all technical challenges are addressed effectively and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include developing and refining diagnostic procedures, training team members on best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall performance of the autonomous fleet. You will also be responsible for analyzing data from diagnostic tests to identify trends and areas for improvement, ultimately contributing to the safety and reliability of Waymo's autonomous driving technology. Your leadership will play a crucial role in scaling operations and ensuring that the Waymo Driver continues to set the standard for autonomous mobility.

What we offer

Waymo offers a competitive salary range of £60,000—£65,000 GBP, along with participation in a discretionary annual bonus program and an equity incentive plan.
