You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the technology or consulting sectors, with at least 5 years of experience engaging customers and driving business outcomes. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value is a key strength, allowing you to build trust and rapport with clients effectively. You are proficient in business development and have experience executing sales methodologies, managing CRM systems, and analyzing customer data to inform your strategies. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to navigate challenges and deliver results that align with customer expectations.
Experience with AWS Professional Services offerings is a plus, as is familiarity with hybrid cloud operations and distributed architecture. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and satisfaction. Your project management abilities allow you to oversee multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
As a Senior ProServe Account Executive at Amazon Web Services, you will be responsible for engaging both new and existing customers in transformative projects that leverage AWS technologies. You will work closely with ProServe Cloud Architects, Engagement Managers, and Delivery Consultants to define business outcomes and create proposals that meet customer needs. Your role will involve understanding customer requirements, identifying applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, and securing customer signoff on Statements of Work (SOWs). After project launch, you will maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure that the agreed business outcomes are being delivered effectively.
You will be measured against key performance metrics, including revenue generation, billable bookings, and customer satisfaction scores. Your ability to foster strong relationships with clients will be crucial in driving repeat business and referrals. You will also be expected to stay informed about industry trends and AWS service offerings to provide valuable insights to your customers.
At Amazon, we offer a competitive salary range for this position, with annual compensation between $138,200 and $239,000, depending on experience and performance.
