Duolingo is seeking a Lead Performance Marketer to drive global user acquisition efforts across 100+ markets. You'll manage mobile acquisition campaigns and collaborate with agency partners. This role requires a strategic, data-driven mindset and experience in performance marketing.
You have a proven track record in performance marketing, with at least 5 years of experience leading user acquisition campaigns across various platforms. Your strategic mindset allows you to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive growth and engagement. You are data-driven, using analytics to inform your decisions and optimize campaigns for maximum impact. You have experience managing substantial budgets and understand the nuances of mobile marketing, particularly in user acquisition. Your leadership skills shine as you mentor and guide a team of performance marketers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and creativity. You are comfortable working with agency partners and internal teams to align marketing efforts with broader business goals. You are passionate about education and the impact it can have on users worldwide, aligning with Duolingo's mission to make learning accessible to all.
Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization is a plus, as is familiarity with various marketing tools and platforms. A background in the education sector or a similar industry can provide valuable insights into user behavior and preferences.
In this role, you will own and scale Duolingo's global performance marketing strategy, focusing on mobile user acquisition. You will lead and mentor a growing team of performance marketers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed. You will strategically run and optimize mobile install campaigns across major platforms, including Google UAC and AppLovin, to maximize user acquisition. Your responsibilities will include analyzing campaign performance data, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations for improvement. You will collaborate closely with agency partners and internal teams to ensure alignment on marketing goals and strategies. You will also be responsible for managing an eight-figure annual budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve the best results. Your role will involve staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking innovative solutions to complex marketing challenges.
