Overview

Block is seeking an Implementation & Onboarding Program Manager to manage the onboarding process for US merchants. You'll leverage your product knowledge to drive successful activations and cultivate cross-functional relationships. This role requires strong project management skills and customer-facing experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in project management and customer success, with experience guiding clients through complex onboarding processes. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders ensures that you can anticipate and resolve obstacles, driving successful outcomes for sellers. You are knowledgeable about product features and integrations, allowing you to educate and train sellers on leveraging Square's platform effectively. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to align on the seller journey and remove barriers to success.

Desirable

Experience in the payments or financial technology industry is a plus, as is familiarity with sales processes and customer relationship management. You are adaptable and can manage both remote and onsite interactions with merchants, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the final stages of the sales funnel, working directly with US merchants to drive deals through to activation. You will be responsible for accelerating the onboarding process, ensuring that sellers are optimally scoped, educated, and set up to leverage Square's platform. Your project management skills will be crucial in maintaining accountability to go-live timelines and accelerating deal velocity wherever possible. You will cultivate strong relationships with Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product teams to align on the seller journey and deliver faster outcomes. Additionally, you will document and track feature requests to inform future product roadmaps, ensuring that the onboarding process continuously improves.
