What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Logs team at Cloudflare, you will lead a talented group of engineers responsible for the full lifecycle of analytics data, including ingestion, streaming, processing, storage, and retrieval. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the data solutions you develop meet the needs of our diverse customer base, from individual bloggers to Fortune 500 companies.

You will be responsible for setting the technical direction for your team, ensuring that best practices are followed in software development and data management. You will oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that your team is equipped to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving Internet landscape.

You will also play a key role in hiring and developing talent within your team, conducting regular one-on-one meetings to provide feedback and support career growth. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging your team to experiment with new technologies and methodologies to enhance our data capabilities.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role; you will partner with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering teams to align on project goals and deliver impactful solutions. You will also engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that our data products are user-friendly and effective.
