Senior Platform Engineer/DevOps

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps, with a strong background in developing and maintaining cloud-based deployment options. Your expertise includes working with Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform, allowing you to create efficient and reliable deployment processes. You understand the importance of service delivery excellence and are committed to ensuring the availability and reliability of SaaS products. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with other engineers to enhance product reliability and scalability.

You are familiar with incident management and post-incident reviews, ensuring that you can contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Your experience includes participating in on-call rotations, where you have honed your skills in troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly and effectively. You are passionate about cybersecurity and are excited about the opportunity to work with innovative open-source solutions that anticipate cyber threats and strengthen security postures.

Desirable

While not required, experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure would be a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices will also enhance your ability to contribute to the team. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies as needed to support the evolving needs of the organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing deployment options for Filigran's products and internal tooling. You will work on cloud architectures, Kubernetes, and virtual machines, ensuring that the deployment processes are efficient and reliable. Your contributions will directly impact the availability of Filigran's SaaS product instances, and you will play a key role in enhancing the overall service delivery culture within the team.

You will collaborate closely with the Platform Engineering manager and other platform engineers to develop automated deployment options that empower developers and internal teams with self-service tooling. Your work will involve creating Helm charts and utilizing tools like Ansible and Terraform to streamline deployment processes. You will also participate in incident management, ensuring that any issues are resolved promptly and effectively, and contribute to post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement.

As part of a collaborative team of approximately 16 platform engineers, you will engage in knowledge sharing and support each other in achieving common goals.
