DoorDash is hiring a Warehouse Associate to manage inventory and fulfill customer orders at their DashMart location. This part-time role requires a motivated individual who thrives in a physical work environment.
You are a motivated individual who excels in fast-paced, physical environments and is excited to roll up your sleeves and actively engage in day-to-day operations. You understand the importance of inventory management and are committed to ensuring all products are accounted for and safeguarded against loss or theft. You have a keen eye for product quality and freshness, ensuring proper product rotation and adherence to food-handling processes. You are a team player who contributes to a positive working environment, embodying the DoorDash value of 'one team, one fight' in all you do.
In this role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving and stocking inventory, ensuring that all products are accounted for and safeguarded against loss or theft. You will monitor product quality and freshness, following all HACCP and spoilage management processes. You will use technology similar to smartphone devices to scan packages, pick and stage orders, and conduct handoffs to Dashers. Communication is key, as you will delight customers by communicating clearly and pleasantly through the app when substitution approvals are needed. You will maintain a safe working environment by performing all duties in compliance with DashMart safety and security standards, completing all cleaning and warehouse organization tasks as assigned by management.
