BridgeBio is seeking a Senior Medical Director, Drug Safety to oversee risk management and safety strategy for assigned products. This role requires expertise in clinical development and safety surveillance.
You have extensive experience in drug safety and risk management, ideally with a background in clinical development and post-approval safety surveillance. You are skilled in engaging with key collaborators and managing external partners, including CROs, to ensure comprehensive safety data oversight. Your leadership abilities shine as you chair safety management committees, identifying emerging safety trends and recommending necessary actions based on cumulative safety data. You thrive in environments that challenge convention and push the boundaries of biopharma innovation.
Experience in rare disease therapeutics or a similar field is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety reporting processes will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. You are a strategic thinker who can navigate complex safety profiles and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
As the Senior Medical Director, Drug Safety, you will be responsible for the overall safety strategy of assigned products. This includes overseeing the safety profile from clinical development through to post-approval, ensuring that all safety data is meticulously managed and analyzed. You will lead the Safety Management Committee, where you will be tasked with identifying any emerging safety trends and defining the safety profile of the products under your purview. Your role will involve close collaboration with regulatory teams to ensure compliance and effective communication of safety information. You will also engage with external partners to gather and interpret safety data, making informed recommendations for safety actions.
