DoorDash is hiring an Associate in Finance and Strategy for their Payment Platform team. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to enhance financial decision-making and improve payment strategies. This role requires 1-3 years of experience in strategic finance or corporate finance.
You have 1-3 years of experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking, ideally within a high-growth technology sector or a well-established company. You are comfortable managing budgets for various teams and have a strong analytical mindset. Your proficiency in Excel is intermediate, and you possess a willingness to learn SQL if you haven't already mastered it. You are capable of building financial models that enhance the understanding of business operations and outcomes.
In this role, you will work closely with the Product Finance team to support financial decisions that are crucial to DoorDash's billion-dollar Payment Strategy. You will collaborate with teams across Operations, Product, and Engineering to ensure that decisions are data-driven and efficient. Your responsibilities will include evaluating the effectiveness of current strategies and developing innovative solutions to improve financial outcomes. You will be involved in carrying projects from conception through execution, working with cross-functional partners to implement new opportunities and solutions that drive growth.
