Who you are

You have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with demonstrated experience in designing and troubleshooting custom electro-mechanical systems from the ground up. You enjoy analytical problem solving and possess practical knowledge of mechanical design, fabrication, assembly, and rapid prototyping. You thrive in an interdisciplinary environment and have led the development of complex electro-mechanical systems. Your ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams is essential, as you will be executing product designs from concept to production.

You are detail-oriented and take ownership of the design and performance of electro-mechanical systems. Your experience includes working closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality organizations to ensure smooth product launches. You are comfortable writing functional specifications and documentation to support your designs, and you understand the importance of validating and testing your work to meet customer needs.

Desirable

Experience with advanced manufacturing techniques and knowledge of industry standards will be beneficial. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies will also enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the team.

What you'll do

As a Mechanical Engineer on the One MHS team, you will be responsible for developing innovative and complex hardware systems for our emerging material handling solutions. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production, including specification, design, prototyping, validation, and testing. You will be the owner of the detailed design and performance of electro-mechanical systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and performance metrics.

You will collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality organizations, as well as external vendors, to facilitate smooth product launches. Your role will involve writing functional specifications and documentation to support your designs, and you will be expected to validate and test your work to ensure it meets customer expectations. You will also engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance existing hardware and optimize performance.
