DigiCert is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable, cloud-native platforms and intelligent applications. You'll leverage your expertise in AI/ML and Generative AI to drive technical innovation. This role requires extensive experience in software engineering and cloud technologies.
You are a highly experienced Principal Software Engineer with a strong background in AI/ML and Generative AI. You have a proven track record of leading the design, development, and evolution of scalable, cloud-native platforms and intelligent applications. Your expertise allows you to collaborate effectively with product managers, UX designers, and architects to understand project requirements and technical specifications. You write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices. You are passionate about unit testing and consistently delivering high-quality code. You stay up to date on emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously improving software development processes and tools.
You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. You are skilled in building cloud-native applications and services-based architecture, and you apply secure coding practices and methodologies in your work. You thrive in cross-functional teams and have a strong ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and debug product defects, providing timely solutions to customer issues.
Experience with DevOps principles and continuous deployment is a plus. You have a passion for mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence within your team. You are eager to contribute to architectural decisions and drive technical innovation, ensuring that your team remains at the forefront of technology.
