You are skilled in using machine learning techniques and statistical methods to evaluate and improve software performance. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and enhance product quality. Your passion for autonomous vehicles and commitment to safety and reliability are evident in your work. You are adept at defining long-term strategies and developing roadmaps that align with organizational goals.

Desirable

Experience with autonomous driving systems or related technologies is a plus. Familiarity with software development best practices and agile methodologies will help you succeed in this role. A strong analytical mindset and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are highly valued.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of software engineers dedicated to developing metrics that assess the driving quality of the Waymo Driver. You will be responsible for measuring the robustness of the software against various inputs, including sensor data and maps. Your work will involve applying machine learning techniques, statistical analysis, and algorithm development to enhance the performance of the Waymo Driver.
