Xometry is seeking an Account Executive II to manage and convert inbound leads into loyal customers. You'll build relationships and guide clients through the sales process. This role requires strong sales skills and a desire to grow within the organization.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in managing inbound leads and converting them into loyal customers. Your ability to build relationships is key, as you will be projecting the company's values of trust, service, and honesty. You are skilled at identifying strategic long-term clients and securing substantial and repeatable orders. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to grow your career within a forward-thinking organization.

You understand the importance of developing business with both existing and new inbound customers. You are proactive in creating and managing plans to achieve specific sales objectives, profitable growth, and enhancing the company's market share and image. Your experience allows you to assist customers in selecting the best rapid manufacturing technology for their development projects, ensuring they receive the best possible service.

As a key point of contact for customers, you are adept at guiding them through the sales process, ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to deal closure. You are comfortable collaborating with internal teams, providing guidance to the sales engineering team to develop quotes based on specific customer needs. Your attention to detail ensures that new customer requirements are collected and communicated effectively to internal departments.

Desirable

While not mandatory, experience in the manufacturing or technology sectors would be advantageous. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales management software can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and converting inbound leads into loyal customers. You will build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring they feel valued and supported throughout their journey with Xometry. Your responsibilities will include developing business with existing and new inbound customers, creating and actively managing plans to reach specific sales objectives, and driving profitable growth.

You will assist customers in selecting the best rapid manufacturing technology for their projects, acting as a knowledgeable resource. As the contact person for all new projects related to prototyping and low volume production, you will ensure that customer needs are met and expectations exceeded. You will collaborate closely with the sales engineering team to develop accurate quotes tailored to customer specifications.

Your role will also involve collecting and communicating new customer requirements to internal departments, ensuring that all teams are aligned and informed. You will play a crucial part in securing substantial and repeatable orders, contributing to the overall success of the company.
