You have a strong background in embedded systems and software engineering, with experience in designing and implementing software for System on Chip (SoC) solutions. Your expertise in C programming allows you to write efficient code for resource-constrained environments, and you are familiar with embedded Linux and real-time operating systems (RTOS). You possess a deep understanding of hardware-software interactions, enabling you to effectively stress test various IP blocks and subsystems within Apple Silicon SoCs. Your experience includes working on the bringup and characterization of new silicon, ensuring that all components function seamlessly together. Experience with debugging and performance optimization in embedded systems is a plus. What you'll do

As a SoC Embedded Software Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing embedded software that enables the rapid testing and characterization of Apple Silicon SoCs. You will engage with new silicon from pre-silicon bringup to mass production, ensuring that the software you develop meets the high standards expected by Apple customers. Your role will involve writing software to exercise and stress test various IP blocks and subsystems, focusing on areas such as the DRAM interface, CPU cores, and digital media blocks.

You will collaborate with chip design, silicon validation, and product engineering teams to bring up new silicon and ensure the quality and performance of every device manufactured.
