Airbnb is seeking a Fraud Intelligence Analyst to lead investigations into fraud patterns and enhance platform integrity. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proactive fraud prevention strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in fraud detection.
You have a strong background in fraud analysis and investigation, with experience leading complex inquiries into high-risk fraud patterns. Your analytical skills allow you to dissect large datasets and identify emerging threats, making you adept at uncovering hidden fraud rings. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with teams across Data Science, Product, Trust, Safety, Legal, and Policy to influence decisions that safeguard the community. You are proactive and detail-oriented, capable of translating investigative insights into actionable controls that enhance fraud resilience. Your ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively is essential, as you will produce comprehensive reports that inform strategic decisions.
Experience in developing early-warning systems and proactive policies to mitigate fraud risks is a plus. Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques will enhance your effectiveness in this role. A background in legal or compliance matters related to fraud prevention can also be beneficial.
In this role, you will lead investigations into high-risk fraud cases, analyzing complex datasets to detect weak signals and evolving threats. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening Airbnb's platform integrity and reducing financial risk. You will collaborate with global experts to set new standards in fraud prevention, ensuring that proactive measures are in place before fraud impacts the community. Airbnb offers a competitive salary range of $82,000 to $96,000 CAD annually, along with potential bonuses, equity, and benefits.
