Overview

Esri is hiring a Principal C#/.NET Software Development Engineer to build innovative SDKs for geolocation systems. You'll work with .NET technologies including WPF, WinUI, and .NET MAUI. This role requires strong C# development skills and a collaborative mindset.

Who you are

You have a strong background in software development with a focus on building SDKs that are both user-friendly and flexible. With your expertise in C#, you understand how to create components that cater to both current and future technological needs. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with other developers to create best-in-class solutions. Your experience with .NET technologies, particularly WPF, WinUI, and .NET MAUI, positions you well to contribute to Esri's mission of enhancing geolocation systems. You are driven by the impact your work can have on various industries, from utilities to defense.

Desirable

Experience with modern API design and development patterns is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and a passion for staying ahead of technology trends will help you excel in this role. What you'll do

In this role, you will design, develop, and test modern APIs for ArcGIS Maps SDKs for .NET. You will build software components that adhere to industry-standard design patterns, ensuring that they are robust and maintainable. Collaborating with a dynamic team, you will leverage your skills to create SDKs that empower other developers to build exceptional applications on top of Esri’s geolocation systems. Your contributions will directly impact how municipalities and industries utilize geolocation technology, making your work meaningful and impactful.
