Job Description

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) enables sellers to scale their businesses globally by leveraging Amazon’s world-class fulfillment network. Sellers using FBA benefit from fast, reliable shipping, Prime delivery eligibility, and hassle-free returns—allowing them to focus on growth while we handle operations. The WW FBA Central Analytics team builds and operates scalable, enterprise-grade data infrastructure, tools, and analytics solutions that power WW FBA business. We partner across global product, program, and operations teams to unify diverse datasets, deliver self-service analytics, and develop next-generation capabilities using LLMs to unlock insights.

Our charter includes building the foundational pipelines, governance frameworks, and intelligent interfaces that enable internal customers to query, analyze, and act on complex datasets with natural language. This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest, complex, and critical analytics ecosystems, designing solutions that combine massive scale, high reliability, and advanced AI.

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer II who will develop and maintain dashboards for WW FBA Returns metrics and seller costs. You will analyze complex data sets and create automated solutions to accelerate business insights.

Key job responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines and reporting solutions to analyze worldwide FBA returns patterns and economics intelligence.
- Partner with data engineers to implement robust data architecture, optimize data pipelines, and ensure data quality while maintaining master lookup tables.
- Design and develop BI reporting solutions for WW FBA Returns and seller costs model.
- Analyze reports and determine appropriate implementation strategies.
- Leverage latest technologies to convert legacy reports into modern AWS QuickSight solutions.
- Research and identify new opportunities for WW FBA Returns team to innovate on behalf of sellers.
- Develop complex queries for ad hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.

- Interface with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform user acceptance testing, and deliver reporting solutions that drive key business decisions.
- Develop and automate complex SQL queries and statistical analyses to identify return rate trends, perform root cause analysis, and surface opportunities for process optimization.
- Own the design and development of metrics that measure returns economics, process efficiency, and seller cost impacts while ensuring data accuracy through validation.
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
