Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Manager-Tech III for their FAAS entity to lead product vision and execution. You'll collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders, requiring strong experience in product management and technical engagement.

Who you are

You have over 6 years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology. Your background includes managing technical products or online services, and you possess a Bachelor's degree. You are skilled in defining and prioritizing product roadmaps, ensuring alignment across teams, and advocating for customer needs. Your technical expertise allows you to engage deeply in discussions about product solution design and construction, contributing effectively to engineering conversations.

You excel in product leadership, listening to customer feedback and translating it into actionable product features. Your experience includes conducting user research, customer interviews, and data analysis to inform product decisions. You are adept at writing press releases, FAQs, and business goals that align with the product vision. You thrive in environments where you can collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that all voices are heard in the product development process.

Desirable

Experience in representing and advocating for customer needs is a plus. Familiarity with feature delivery and understanding trade-offs in product management will enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are comfortable navigating complex technical discussions and can articulate product requirements clearly to engineering teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take on end-to-end ownership of the customer experience for the FAAS entity. You will define the product vision and work closely with front-end and back-end technical teams to build and launch products that meet customer needs. Your responsibilities will include defining both functional and non-functional technical requirements, ensuring that the product aligns with business goals and customer expectations.

You will lead product discovery efforts, utilizing user research and data analysis to inform your decisions. Collaborating with engineers, technical program managers, designers, and marketers, you will prioritize the product roadmap and ensure that all teams are aligned on goals and deliverables. Your role will involve engaging deeply with engineering teams to discuss technical decisions and strategies, contributing your insights to shape the product's direction.

You will also be responsible for writing clear and concise documentation, including press releases and FAQs, to communicate product features and updates to stakeholders. Your ability to advocate for the customer will be crucial as you work to ensure that the product delivers the best possible experience.
