Your ability to identify and eliminate blockers in manufacturing flow is key to your success. You are detail-oriented and adept at managing schedules, tracking progress, and communicating critical paths and dependencies to ensure smooth operations.

Your technical skills include proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, which you use to create and manage designs that support the build process. You are familiar with AWS and understand how to leverage cloud technologies to enhance engineering workflows. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement drives you to seek out innovative solutions that advance assembly designs and processes.

Desirable

Experience with first build process development for new assembly designs is a plus. Familiarity with process planning and the ability to incorporate feedback into engineering revisions will set you apart. You are also encouraged to bring any additional skills or experiences that could contribute to the team’s success.

Your role will involve interfacing with engineers and technicians to streamline manufacturing flow, eliminating unnecessary scope and downtime. You will create and manage tools to communicate schedules, identify critical paths, and track progress build over build.

You will review and triage work order feedback, working with process planning to ensure necessary changes are incorporated into in-process work orders and future engineering revisions. Your contributions will support the first build process development for new and changing assembly designs, which may include process and equipment design as well as physical operations.

Your work will be critical in advancing SpaceX's mission to enable human life on Mars, and you will be part of a team that is dedicated to solving some of the toughest challenges in engineering. You will be expected to immerse yourself in the work, putting in the effort required to make this ambitious goal a reality.
