The Global Logistics team is looking for a candidate for the Cross-Border Transportation Network Operation Center (X-NOC) Specialist position in Tokyo, Japan. This role understands Amazons’ Inbound Network and partners with regional internal and external partners and stakeholders to execute daily inbound operations to drive speed, accuracy, and efficiency in B2B cross-border transportation across the Globe. As a part of the Import operations team, they will partake in the daily process improvement initiatives to drive productivity.
Knowledge of the overall import Process in Japan regional Destination Freight movement, Customs Clearance, and Inland Destination transportation (Drayage) is a key strength for the ideal candidate.
This role will include the following:
• Manage Shipment Order-to-Arrival of Air/Ocean/Ground B2B import shipments from origin facilities (mainly in China and the US) to Amazon Facilities in Japan.
• Manage Shipment Order-to-Arrival of Air/Ocean B2B export shipments from Amazon Facilities in the US/EU to Japan.
• Stakeholder/Partner Communications
• Inquiry Management
• Escalation Management
• Reporting Creation and Distribution
• Kaizen activities in day-to-day operations
• Investigate causes of problems and collaborate with related partners to rectify them.

国際輸送ネットワークオペレーションセンター（X-NOC）は、海外に存在するメーカー製造拠点と自社倉庫間の輸入業務、および自社倉庫間の輸送業務を担うアマゾンの輸入ネットワークのデイリーオペレーションを担当し、全ての製品が計画通りに輸送されるように社内外関係先との日々の調整やコミュニケーションを行い、デイリーで輸送状況を確認し、一定の範囲を超えた遅延や問題発生時には輸送実務を担当する社外の輸送業者や社内の担当者と協働して速やかに解決に導きます。
主な業務内容の例は以下の通りです。
・輸入貨物の現地での船積み状況及びアマゾン拠点への移送状況のトラッキング
・トラック、海上コンテナ、航空カーゴスペースの発注状況、運行実績の確認
・輸送状況の追跡と異常時の関係部門への連絡
・輸送会社や社内部門からの問合せ対応
・各種指標のトラッキングとレポート
・トラブル発生時の原因調査と関係者と協業しての改善 - High school or equivalent diploma
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent
- Proficiency in both English and Japanese required- 1+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with SQL
