Overview

SpaceX is seeking a Mission Manager for their Starship Crew and Cargo Programs to lead programmatic development and execution for NASA’s Artemis program and other missions. This role requires strong leadership and integration skills to manage complex projects.

You have a strong background in program management, ideally with experience in aerospace or related fields. You excel at leading teams and managing complex projects, ensuring that all milestones are met while maintaining robust customer relationships. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is key to your success. You are detail-oriented and thrive in fast-paced environments where you can leverage your organizational skills to drive projects forward. You understand the importance of regulatory coordination and have experience working with government contracts. You are passionate about space exploration and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to missions that aim to take humans to the Moon and Mars.

Desirable

Experience with NASA programs or similar government contracts would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with systems engineering principles and project management methodologies will help you navigate the complexities of the role. A background in aerospace engineering or related technical fields is also beneficial.

What you'll do

As a Mission Manager at SpaceX, you will lead the development and execution of the Human Landing System as part of NASA’s Artemis program. You will serve as the main interface between SpaceX and its customers, ensuring that all program requirements are met and that the vehicles and systems are certified for flight. You will collaborate closely with customer program managers to ensure successful execution of all contract and flight milestones. Your role will involve coordinating with various teams across SpaceX, providing critical integration support to ensure that all aspects of the program are aligned and progressing as planned. You will also be responsible for developing proposals and managing contracts, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
