Tenable is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to enhance their cloud-based vulnerability management platform. You'll work with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes to ensure high availability and reliability for private cloud environments. This role requires strong technical problem-solving skills and experience in cloud infrastructure.
You have a strong background in site reliability engineering with at least 5 years of experience in managing cloud infrastructure. You are proficient in AWS and have hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Your expertise in Linux systems allows you to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively. You understand the importance of reliability and availability in cloud environments and are passionate about building self-managing systems. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement, always seeking to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of Tenable's cloud products in private cloud environments. You will take ownership of the code and functionality, working to scale the platform automatically and make it more self-managing. You will respond to support escalations, troubleshooting complex technical problems and resolving data and configuration issues. Your work will involve collaborating with engineering teams to implement best practices for reliability and performance. You will also participate in incident management and capacity planning, ensuring that the infrastructure can handle the demands of our customers. Your contributions will directly impact the success of Tenable's mission to provide best-in-class cybersecurity solutions.
