Data Center Physical Security Specialist, DCC Communities

Who you are

You have experience working in critical infrastructure installations, ideally data centers, and understand the importance of operational security excellence. Your vigilance drives a culture of quality and supports proactive identification of physical security vulnerabilities for remediation. You interface and direct security vendors involved in new security construction, repairs, daily security operations, patrols, and planning. You are skilled in extracting metrics and observing improvements by analyzing hard data available. You advise and recommend security systems improvements and design, leading security awareness training for data center occupants. You are adept at writing and implementing security procedures and directorates, developing reports, and advising leadership on the status of physical security operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will complete standard tasks for operational security as part of a security operations team across multiple facilities. You will drive security awareness campaigns aimed at enhancing security vigilance and effectiveness. Using tools to complete tasks such as workflow ticketing, you will analyze data to track key performance metrics. You will lead security investigations across campus facilities and oversee physical security vendors that provide guards, electronic security systems, door construction/repair, fencing, and access controls. Your role will be crucial in promoting security equity and ensuring that all security measures are effectively implemented and maintained.
