Job Description

Who you are

You have experience building online communities or creator-focused audiences, which has equipped you with a deep understanding of community dynamics and engagement strategies. Your strong communication and writing skills allow you to connect with diverse audiences effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive community culture. You understand the social and creator-platform ecosystems, enabling you to navigate and leverage these platforms for community growth. You possess the ability to balance creativity with data-driven insights, ensuring that your strategies are both innovative and effective.

Desirable

While not required, familiarity with community management tools and analytics platforms would be beneficial. Experience in content creation and social media management can enhance your ability to engage with community members and promote initiatives effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for community interactions across Patreon, YouTube, and social platforms, managing chats, DMs, and comments to foster engagement. You will be responsible for enforcing community guidelines and maintaining a positive atmosphere, ensuring that all interactions reflect the values of Digital Spaghetti. Your role will involve publishing episode drops, community initiatives, and short-form content, encouraging audience participation and cultivating a sense of belonging among members.

You will develop, test, and iterate a community publishing strategy that drives growth, engagement, and conversions to Patreon. This includes creating and managing a publishing schedule across platforms, ensuring that all posts meet Digital Spaghetti’s creative standards and brand voice. Collaboration will be key as you work with the supervising producer and shorts producer to align cross-promotion efforts and drive traffic to Patreon. You will also collaborate with the Patreon product team to adopt and showcase best practices for creator success.

Additionally, you will write posts, descriptions, and newsletters, helping to develop the Digital Spaghetti brand voice. Your role will require you to synthesize and report community feedback to inform product iteration and internal strategy, maintaining and improving all community-facing materials.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with creative teams and contribute to innovative community strategies. The role provides a chance to grow your skills in community management and content strategy while being part of a mission-driven organization that supports creators.
