Job Description

In the Retail Vendor Management (RVM) team, creating long term and trusting relationships with our clients is our base priority.

Our international and multilingual team, based in Bratislava, is focused on driving results, using a combination of direct communication with the suppliers and by promoting usage of self-service solutions leveraging Amazon technology enhancements.

We own suppliers’ relationships and lead them to success by guiding them to improve key inputs and educating them on how to grow their business.

We are focused on driving results, using a combination of direct interaction with the supplier and by promoting usage of self-service solutions leveraging Amazon technology enhancements. We work in a complex environment, using a variety of tools to perform our tasks.
We prioritize our interaction with suppliers based on business opportunity and we work with various dedicated suppliers throughout the year. We continuously improve our processes and we influence and interact with business and technical teams to create and improve process automation and supplier tools.

We deliver value to our suppliers through our people and invest in developing their strengths and talent, therefore, Amazon's Bratislava team is looking for an enthusiastic and curious individual to help us grow the business of our small and medium suppliers across Amazon EU businesses.

This is a temporary full-time position for 12 months aimed at recent college graduates or candidates with limited experience. This position will provide you with unforgettable working experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; it will boost your resume and will make you stand out as a candidate in all your future job searches internally or externally. Also, upon a mutual agreement there might be a possibility to transfer to a Retail account manager role with a permanent contract.

What will you learn:
- Business knowledge: we will provide you with ad hoc trainings on the different business topics
- Project management: you will be given the chance to lead your own projects, provide improvement ideas and updates to different stakeholders

Base pay for this position starts from 1.300 EUR.


Key job responsibilities
In this role you will support the Retail Vendor Management team in various operational and administrative aspects such as:
- Supplier engagement – direct interaction on relevant business topics, managing suppliers’ catalogs, contract amendments, etc.
- Providing internal support to uphold the high standards for our selling-partner base
- Ad-hoc data processing to support the Retail Account Management team and external stakeholders.

A day in the life
You manage various activities throughout the day including, contacting our suppliers on our main programs and internal teams’ requests:
1) engage with Amazon suppliers to discuss business actions;
2) provide administrative support to Retail Vendor Managers for instance to support dive deep or specific Vendor requests
3) ad-hoc excel data processing,
4) action critical operational and technical requests in order to improve business growth and other performances such as the operational one;
5) engage with several stakeholders on various projects;
6) elaborate and own standard operational procedure guidelines to explain and describe processes.
