You have over 5 years of closing experience, particularly in field selling within mid-market and enterprise sectors, with a focus on insurance and traditional conglomerates in the Hong Kong market. You are driven and have consistently met or exceeded direct sales goals of over 1 million dollars, demonstrating your ability to operate effectively in a competitive environment. Your experience has equipped you with a deep understanding of customer business needs, allowing you to uncover pain points and deliver tailored solutions. You possess strong negotiation skills, enabling you to secure favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by effectively communicating value and ROI. You are resourceful and can navigate challenges that may arise during the sales process, ensuring high forecasting accuracy and consistency in your approach. Your intuitive sense of the necessary steps to close business and gain customer validation sets you apart as a strategic thinker in sales.
In this role, you will prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies, running an efficient sales process that aligns with Datadog’s strategic goals. You will maintain, build, and own specific relationship maps for your territory, which includes both existing relationships and aspirational contacts. Developing a deep comprehension of your customers' businesses will be crucial as you identify robust sets of business drivers behind all opportunities.
