What you'll do

In your role as a Risk Governance Senior Specialist, you will support the Director of Risk in implementing and managing risk management programs for the Bitstamp Financial Services Entity. You will collaborate with process owners to ensure that all risks are appropriately managed and controlled. Your responsibilities will include overseeing monitoring activities to minimize exposure to financial and operational risks impacting the BFS Entity.

You will analyze risk models to measure, monitor, and manage risk exposure across various derivatives products and trading strategies. This involves a thorough understanding of market dynamics and the ability to adapt risk management strategies accordingly. You will oversee the margin and collateral management process, which includes setting margin requirements, monitoring collateral adequacy, and managing margin calls effectively.

Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring that the risk management framework remains robust and compliant. You will also play a key role in fostering a risk-aware culture within the organization, providing training and guidance to team members on best practices in risk management.
