You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 1 year of professional work experience in a factory or production environment. You may also have completed a machining certification. Your experience includes 2+ years of deburr experience using various techniques with both manual and automated equipment. You are familiar with basic blueprint reading and have knowledge of CNC machining. You are comfortable using various measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure precision in your work.

Additionally, you will assist with material inventory and prepare for machining processes, operating a mass finishing barrel tumbler using specific recipes for different parts and materials. Meeting productivity and production goals will be essential, as will maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. You will be expected to keep products moving and alert management when production is inhibited, while also providing continuous ideas for process improvements.
At SpaceX, you will be part of a team that is actively developing technologies to enable human life on Mars. You will work in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact the future of space exploration. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
