You have a background in engineering with a focus on integration and testing, ideally with experience in composites. You possess strong skills in AutoCAD and are proficient in programming languages such as C and C++. Your familiarity with Linux environments enhances your ability to operate and troubleshoot complex systems. You have a keen eye for detail, understanding that precision is critical in testing scenarios where margins for error are minimal. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that designs are optimized for manufacturing and testing. Your experience as a Mechanical Engineer equips you with the knowledge to design and analyze structures and mechanisms effectively.
As an Integration & Test Engineer at SpaceX, you will be responsible for creating test stands and equipment concepts that support the development of new aerospace products. You will design and analyze structures, fluid systems, and mechanisms, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of safety and reliability. Collaborating with design, build, and reliability engineers, you will streamline new designs for efficient manufacturing processes. You will supervise the integration of test stands and equipment, overseeing fabrication, mechanical assembly, and data/control systems. Your role will also involve operating test stands with meticulous attention to detail, developing manufacturing processes, and writing technical instructions to uphold processing standards. You will refine existing hardware and procedures based on lessons learned from testing, contributing to continuous improvement in product development.
