Safety Coordinator

Who you are

You are a dedicated Safety Coordinator with a strong commitment to workplace safety and health. You have experience in environmental management, compliance, and occupational safety, and you understand the importance of creating a safe working environment. You are proactive in identifying safety risks and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed diligently. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively educate and train staff on safety practices. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with the Site Safety Manager and other team members to champion a culture of safety within the organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for leading safety initiatives within the distribution center. You will work alongside the Site Safety Manager to ensure OSHA compliance, conducting safety training for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff. You will be a visible presence on the production floor, identifying potential safety risks and addressing them promptly. You will assist in accident investigations and root cause analysis, providing valuable insights to prevent future incidents. Your role will also involve completing EHS-related audits and responding to identified gaps in safety protocols. You will coordinate with other associates to promote ergonomics and safety practices, ensuring that all team members are aware of and adhere to safety standards.
