Overview

DoorDash is hiring an Associate Strategic Account Development Executive to enhance partnerships with franchised merchants. You'll engage with strategic decision-makers and drive revenue growth through the DoorDash platform. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to manage complex pipelines.

Job Description

Who you are

You are an enthusiastic sales professional eager to connect with existing franchised merchant partners and help them leverage new tools on the DoorDash delivery platform. You possess strong communication skills and are comfortable engaging with strategic decision-makers, including C-suite executives and business owners. You have a knack for understanding business goals and can articulate how DoorDash can enhance their operations and revenue. You are adaptable and ready to work both in the field and from home, with a willingness to attend trade shows and conferences as needed.

You have a foundational understanding of sales processes and are excited about running your end-to-end sales process. You are skilled in sales discovery and complex pipeline management, ensuring that you can effectively close deals and foster long-term partnerships. You are data-driven and can use internal metrics to tell a compelling story that resonates with your partners. You are eager to learn and grow within the sales organization, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Desirable

Experience in outside sales or account management is a plus, as is familiarity with the food delivery or e-commerce industry. You are motivated by results and have a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. You are open to feedback and continuously seek ways to improve your sales techniques and strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for expanding existing partnerships with franchised merchants on the DoorDash platform. You will engage with these partners to understand their business needs and growth goals, ensuring that the partnership terms are mutually beneficial. You will run your end-to-end sales process, from initial discovery to closing deals, while managing a complex sales pipeline.

You will excite existing accounts about the potential to increase their revenue share through upgrades, upsells, and cross-sells of DoorDash platform products and marketing promotions. Your ability to use internal data and unit economics will be crucial in explaining the value of these offerings to your partners. You will collaborate closely with the Manager of Strategic Account Development and other team members to ensure sustained success and increased sales.

You will also be expected to attend trade shows and conferences to represent DoorDash and connect with potential partners. Your role will involve a mix of in-office work, field visits, and remote work, providing you with a flexible work environment that encourages productivity and collaboration.
