Flexport is hiring a Customs Partner Analyst to manage customs clearance processes and client relationships across APAC. This role requires strong organizational skills and a client-centric approach.
You have a strong understanding of customs regulations and the ability to validate information required for customs clearance in various countries. Your attention to detail ensures that documentation is accurately prepared and organized for inbound and outbound shipments. You are client-focused, always striving to meet client expectations and find innovative solutions to their challenges. Your experience in managing multiple clients simultaneously allows you to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with clients and provide them with the necessary advice regarding classifications and trade agreements. Your organizational skills help you maintain excellent records and documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and addressing them before they escalate, demonstrating your commitment to client satisfaction.
As a Customs Partner Analyst at Flexport, you will validate the information required to clear customs for various clients across the APAC region. You will digitally prepare and organize documentation necessary for customs clearance, ensuring that all shipments are compliant with regulations. Your role will involve managing inbound and outbound shipments, working closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
You will be responsible for advising clients on classifications and the potential use of Preferential Trade Agreements on a per-shipment basis. Your ability to think outside the box will help you find solutions that meet client requirements while adhering to customs regulations. You will also organize and digitally store inbound documentation, maintaining a systematic approach to record-keeping.
Your role will require you to collaborate with various stakeholders within Flexport, ensuring that all customs processes run smoothly and efficiently.
