Rain is seeking a CISO to lead the security governance, risk, and compliance strategy with a focus on ISO certification. You'll collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, legal, and operations teams to ensure security compliance. This role requires expertise in ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
You have extensive experience in information security and compliance, particularly with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards. Your background includes developing and implementing security governance frameworks that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. You are skilled in risk management and have a proven track record of leading compliance initiatives in a fast-paced environment. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the organization. You possess strong analytical skills and can effectively communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are proactive in identifying potential security risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
Experience in the fintech or crypto sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with emerging technologies and their security implications. You have a passion for staying updated on the latest security trends and threats, and you are committed to continuous learning and improvement in your field.
As the CISO at Rain, you will own the security governance, risk, and compliance strategy, focusing on ISO certification and regulatory readiness. You will lead the development and implementation of security policies and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices. Collaborating closely with engineering, infrastructure, legal, and operations teams, you will ensure that security considerations are integrated into all projects and initiatives. You will serve as the executive owner for security compliance programs, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2, overseeing audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing security training programs for employees to foster a culture of security awareness throughout the organization. Your role will involve regular reporting to the executive team on the status of security initiatives and compliance efforts, as well as advising on security-related risks and mitigation strategies.
