Dropbox is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to manage and optimize their global cloud and corporate network environments. You'll work with AWS, GCP, and OCI to ensure reliability and security. This role requires experience in cloud networking and infrastructure management.
You have 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on cloud environments. Your expertise spans AWS, GCP, and OCI, and you understand the intricacies of managing large-scale network infrastructures. You are familiar with network security principles, including the implementation of firewalls and Zero Trust architectures. You have hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, enabling you to troubleshoot and optimize network performance effectively. You are comfortable collaborating with Site Reliability Engineers and Infrastructure Engineers to enhance network reliability and scalability. You have a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and driving automation in network operations.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for network deployments is a plus, as is familiarity with observability and logging platforms. You are knowledgeable about cloud-native security platforms and have a keen interest in optimizing enterprise cloud migrations. Your ability to analyze metrics, logs, and traces to improve network reliability will set you apart in this role.
In this role, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of Dropbox’s global cloud and corporate network environments. You will monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure health using Datadog and synthetic testing frameworks, contributing to cloud migrations and optimization efforts. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet the needs of Dropbox’s multi-cloud environment. Your responsibilities will include driving improvements in automation, observability, and cost efficiency across the network infrastructure. You will tackle complex infrastructure challenges, spanning cloud networking, compute, storage, and service delivery, while helping shape the next generation of Dropbox’s cloud architecture.
Dropbox offers a competitive salary range of CAD 172,600 to CAD 233,400, reflecting your experience and expertise. You will have the opportunity to work remotely from select locations in Canada, providing flexibility in your work environment.
