Carvana is seeking a Master Paintless Dent Repair Technician to join their team in Akron, NY. You'll utilize advanced glue-pulling techniques and perform various dent repairs on vehicle panels. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive PDR experience.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive paintless dent repair (PDR) experience — your expertise includes advanced glue-pulling techniques, hail repair, and the ability to repair creases and body lines on both steel and aluminum vehicle panels. You are skilled in handling large area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair, and are familiar with the latest tools and techniques in the industry. Your attention to detail ensures that every repair meets high-quality standards, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where customer satisfaction is paramount.
You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional service — you understand the importance of collaboration and communication within the team to achieve common goals. You are adaptable and willing to work mandatory overtime based on business needs, demonstrating your dedication to the mission of providing great vehicles to customers. Your ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is essential for effective communication in the workplace.
Experience with high-tech inspection centers and familiarity with state-of-the-art tools is a plus. You may also have certifications such as ASE, which can enhance your qualifications and demonstrate your commitment to professional development.
As a Master Paintless Dent Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing high-quality paintless dent repairs on a variety of vehicles. Your day-to-day tasks will include using advanced techniques to repair dents caused by hail, creases, and other impacts, ensuring that each vehicle meets Carvana's high standards for quality and appearance. You will work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to deliver exceptional results.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor and train entry-level technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them develop their skills and advance their careers within the company. Your role will involve collaborating with other team members to ensure that all repairs are completed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the team.
In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in automotive repair. You will also participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies in the industry, ensuring that your skills remain sharp and relevant.
