Desirable

Experience with external audit requirements and a solid understanding of compliance standards would be beneficial. Familiarity with inventory management systems and financial analysis tools is a plus, as is the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own assigned month-end close processes, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and timely. You will prepare account reconciliations and record journal entries, maintaining meticulous documentation to support your work. Your responsibilities will also include valuing inventory and managing relationships with distribution center personnel to ensure that inventory processes and counts are complete and accurate.

You will develop, prepare, and present financial analyses that provide reliable information to drive strategic decisions within the company. Your role will require you to conduct research and provide technical guidance on areas of responsibility, investigating and resolving any inventory irregularities that arise. You will also be responsible for ensuring audit preparedness and compliance, supporting external audit requirements related to your specific areas of responsibility.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be expected to devise proposals to improve accounting processes, aiming to shorten the time to close and enhance overall efficiency. You will work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, collaborating with various teams to achieve common goals and contribute to the company's success.
