HubSpot is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to design and build a modern data foundation that supports analytic and ML products. You'll work with SQL and Python to drive actionable insights across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of data architecture and analytics priorities.
You have 5+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, where you've developed a strong foundation in data architecture and analytics. Your expertise in SQL and Python allows you to create flexible, reusable data solutions that drive business insights. You understand the importance of bridging the gap between technical solutions and business needs, enabling effective decision-making across teams. Your experience with data visualization tools like Looker and Tableau helps you present complex data in an accessible manner. You are familiar with dbt for transforming data and ensuring its quality, which is crucial for maintaining a reliable data landscape. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver impactful solutions.
Experience with machine learning concepts and tools is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to support analytic products. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP can also be beneficial in this role, as it aligns with modern data practices. A background in business operations or strategy will help you align your analytics work with organizational goals.
In this role, you will be a key member of the Data, Systems, & Intelligence team, responsible for designing and building a modern data foundation that supports various analytic and machine learning products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and develop solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Your work will involve creating data models and pipelines that ensure data is accessible and actionable for decision-makers. You will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity and quality of data, implementing best practices for data governance. As you develop a deep understanding of the business priorities, you will create analytics solutions that unlock insights and drive strategic initiatives. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the analytics function within HubSpot.
