Amazon is hiring a Business Analyst Support to maintain and enhance analytical frameworks and reporting tools. You'll work with SQL, Excel, and BI tools like Power BI and Tableau. This role requires 1+ years of data analytics experience.
You have at least 1 year of experience in data analytics or automation, demonstrating a solid understanding of business requirements and the ability to quickly identify the root causes of reporting or data issues. Your attention to detail and bias for action make you a valuable asset in any analytical environment. You are eager to learn and develop your skillset in the latest technologies and analytical techniques, and you understand how data and analytical frameworks translate to real-world business applications. You possess moderate to advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel, and you are familiar with reporting and data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, or Power BI. Additionally, you have some knowledge of scripting languages like Bash or Python, which enhances your ability to automate processes and improve existing workflows.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and refreshing Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs) and other analytical frameworks set up by senior analysts. You will build simple reports and respond to dive deep requests, making necessary changes to existing analytical frameworks. Your role will involve providing ad-hoc data support to Operations stakeholders, ensuring that data accuracy is maintained by validating data for new resources. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and automate or enhance existing processes. You will also be expected to come up with innovative ideas for new work or improvements to existing workflows, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team. Your contributions will directly impact key business decisions through the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards.
