What you'll do

In this role, you will spearhead the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud, working closely with global AWS teams to ensure a successful rollout in 2025. You will oversee the development and operations teams dedicated to delivering high-availability AWS services, ensuring that they meet the needs of EU customers. Your responsibilities will include enhancing day-to-day operations, focusing on improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency. You will collaborate with technology leaders to influence the evolution of AWS services, ensuring they align with customer needs and regulatory requirements. You will also participate in incident resolution during on-call rotations, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
