HubSpot is hiring a Senior Software Engineer I for their Data Integration team to build and maintain connections between their sync platform and third-party APIs. You'll work with technologies like Java, Python, and AWS to enhance data management solutions. This role requires significant experience in software engineering and API integration.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building and maintaining integrations with third-party APIs. Your background includes working with data synchronization and real-time data processing, allowing you to understand the complexities involved in data integration. You are proficient in programming languages such as Java and Python, and you have experience with REST APIs, which are crucial for connecting various systems. Your familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS, enables you to leverage scalable solutions for data management. You are comfortable using containerization tools like Docker to streamline development and deployment processes. You have a strong understanding of database systems, particularly PostgreSQL, which is essential for managing data effectively.
Experience with data ingestion platforms and AI-powered data management is a plus. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools will help you ensure the health of integrations.
