What you'll do

As the Director of Storage Engines at MongoDB, you will lead the Storage Engines team, focusing on the development and optimization of WiredTiger, our cutting-edge open-source storage engine. You will collaborate with a diverse team of database engineering pioneers, leveraging their expertise to drive innovative improvements and performance optimizations in our storage layer. Your role will involve working closely with peer core database teams to unlock exciting new features that enhance the robustness and quality of our product.

You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the Storage Engines team, ensuring that projects align with MongoDB's mission to stay ahead of customer expectations.
