Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 10 years of experience in HR Business Partner or HR Generalist roles — your extensive background has equipped you with the skills to influence executive stakeholders and drive HR strategy using data insights. You excel in project and change management, adeptly managing multiple priorities while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation in HR projects.

Your experience includes implementing HR projects and supporting change management initiatives — you understand the importance of effective communication and training activities in fostering a positive employee experience. You are a strategic thinker capable of cross-functional collaboration, engaging with various stakeholder groups to drive decisions that align with organizational goals.

You possess excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills — these abilities enable you to navigate complex HR challenges and provide valuable insights to enhance the employee experience. As a Market HR Consultant, you will be at the forefront of shaping the employee experience at one of Google's key strategic and growth sites, making a significant impact on the Ireland site.

Desirable

Experience with local labor relations management and engaging with councils/work councils is a plus — your ability to provide local context and advice on key HR-related matters will be invaluable in this role. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to the growth and development of the HR function at Google Ireland.

What you'll do

You will collaborate closely with executive stakeholders and various teams, including the HR Compliance team and Process Ownership team, to prioritize and mitigate market-related risks. Your role will involve reviewing local policies in the context of the market, ensuring that Google's HR practices align with local regulations and best practices.

You will support local labor relations management, engaging with councils and providing guidance on HR-related matters. Your strategic thinking and program management skills will be essential in rolling out new HR programs and processes to approximately 6000 Googlers, ensuring a seamless transition and positive employee experience.

What we offer

At Google, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the growth of one of the world's leading technology companies. You will be part of a collaborative team that values diversity and inclusion, fostering a culture where everyone's voice is heard and respected.

We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement — your unique perspective and skills could be the perfect fit for our team. Join us in shaping the future of work at Google Ireland, where your contributions will make a meaningful impact on the employee experience and organizational success.
