ABOUT THIS ROLE
The role will drive data-informed decision making for Audible's Content Discovery product team, transforming complex data into actionable insights that enhance how listeners find their next great listen. The position involves collaborating with product managers, engineers, and designers to optimize discovery experiences that delight our customers and grow our business. Using analytical expertise, the ideal candidate will measure success, identify opportunities, and help shape our content discovery strategy in an evolving audio landscape.

You're passionate about using data to solve customer problems and are energized by the challenge of helping millions find content they'll love. You thrive in fast-paced environments, combining analytical rigor with business acumen to deliver insights that drive product decisions. You're a natural collaborator who can translate technical findings into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

As a Product Analytics Manager, you will...
- Process and analyze datasets to uncover insights that drive improvements to our content discovery experience
- Build and maintain dashboards that track key metrics across the discovery journey and product features
- Partner with product teams to define success metrics and design experiments that evaluate feature performance
- Communicate data insights clearly to cross-functional teams, from engineers to senior leadership
- Develop custom metrics and models that measure the effectiveness of discovery mechanisms

- Experience building intermediate to complex business models
- Experience distilling large datasets and translating data into actionable insights for a digital media or eCommerce company
- Experience with data visualization software including Tableau
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment- Experience with recommendation systems, personalization algorithms, or content discovery optimization
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and machine learning applications
- Experience with A/B testing and statistical analysis methodologies
- Knowledge of user behavior analytics and engagement metrics
- Experience working in audio, publishing, or entertainment industries
- Intellectual curiosity about what creates value for customers in digital content experiences
