You are a qualified lawyer with experience in providing legal counsel in a corporate environment — you understand the intricacies of commercial law and have a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks, particularly in the APAC region. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Your ability to think creatively and pragmatically allows you to navigate complex legal issues while supporting innovative business initiatives. You are detail-oriented and have a strong commitment to ensuring compliance and mitigating legal risks.
Experience working in the technology or entertainment sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with intellectual property law and data protection regulations. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are comfortable advising on a wide range of legal matters, from contracts to regulatory compliance.
As a Legal Counsel at Spotify, you will be an integral part of the Markets and Regulatory Legal team, providing legal support to various business units including Subscriptions, Ad Sales, Marketing, and R&D.
